No Chemicals Necessary!

Going natural does not mean you can’t wear you hair straight and flowing. In addition to curly tresses, stylish afros, pretty twists and braids, straight and smooth is also a fabulous option for natural hair divas.

The top left picture shows our client's hair in its natural, shrunken and tightly coiled state. The picture below shows the same client with a straight, silky smooth mane without any chemical processing. Her straight style will last her days, even weeks, without frizzing or poofing due to the technique performed. Hair Repair Tips for Severe Damage

Take a look at the picture to the top left (actual client). This client came to Aqua Ice Salon in quest of restoring damaged and thinning hair caused by constant and improper weave applications. On a mission to restore the healthy hair that this client once had, the Experts of Aqua Ice Salon took action and implemented 3 fundamental steps.

Step 1: If applied properly, weaves can be a great option to achieving longer, fuller hairstyles. But too often are weaves literally worn in place of our own natural tresses. We have to remember to let our hair breath and to properly wash and condition what’s underneath. Since this client’s hair was so severely damaged we recommended NO MORE WEAVES. Instead, we chose for her a Lace-Front Wig or one unit (as pictured to the left) to conceal the damage during treatments. Unlike weaves, wigs are virtually non-abrasive, involving no tugging or pulling on our hair. We matched the hue of the unit to her skin tone and gave her a cut suitable for her face shape.

Step 2: Regular conditioning treatments with our European Deep Steam system. For this client we blended a treatment rich in protein and moisture to strengthen the hair and penetrate hydration.

Step 3: And among other treatments, we recommended that the client applies Aqua Pure Skin’s Hair, Bath & Body Oil to her hair on a regular bases. This oil is a blend of natural oils, including rosemary and olive that will stimulate the hair follicles for hair growth while providing moisture.

After just two visits with us, the client was surprised to actually see real results. In just a short time her dry brittle hair felt hydrated and stunted follicles began to grow.
